News and other fun stuff!
In Case you missed it!
The last weekend of October, Southern Oregon Brewing Company participated in a craft beer festival/people’s choice competition during the Battle of the Bones BBQ Event at the Jackson County Expo. Against a broad spectrum of local and regional beers, Southern Oregon Brewing Company’s Gold took first place on Friday, first place on Saturday, first place on Sunday and was crowned Grand Champion of the event. We poured Old Humbug (our seasonal winter warmer, an English Strong Ale with 8.5% ABV) on Sunday and it took second place for the day while our IPA (India Pale Ale) took home a third on Friday. Overall, we captured 5 of the 9 medals awarded as well as the Grand Championship.
